Ian Azzopardi – Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, Endevio Group

Ian Azzopardi is the Chief Financial Officer and a key member of the executive board of directors, where he plays an essential role in shaping the organisation's financial direction. With extensive expertise in both domestic and international tax, Ian is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, managing risks, and ensuring full compliance with financial regulations. He also leads financial planning and analysis, budget preparation, and supervises organisational operations, all of which are vital in supporting the organisation's strategic objectives.

Ian’s career began with one of the Big 4 firms, where he specialised in tax services. He then moved to a family-run accounting firm, managing the accounting and tax affairs for a varied portfolio of international and domestic clients. Following this, Ian spent five years with a local Corporate Service Provider (CSP) as the Head of Tax and Accounting, where he further developed his expertise in the field.

Ian holds a Master’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Malta, along with a professional award in Taxation from the Malta Institute of Taxation. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is fluent in English, Maltese, and Italian. Ian is also an active member of the Malta Institute of Accountants and the Malta Institute of Taxation.

Outside of his professional life, Ian enjoys travelling, cooking, and staying active through regular exercise.
